Our licensed professionals offer customized and innovative skill sets that are sure to please the most discerning of guests.

Tita • Owner

Tita has a passion for hair and artistry, she has traveled extensively to train with some of the works best, Bumble and Bumble, Redken, Tony and Guy, Vidal Sassoon, Michael Cole, Trevor Sorbie and many more! She has a flare with her razor which takes a lifetime to master! Her passion has led her to share her talent with other stylists to grow in the industry to be as passionate about hair as she is. Tita has grown a team of dedicated individuals who are as passionate as she is and who continuously love to learn. She has created a beautiful family!

Selvije • Stylist

Selvije has been in the industry for 27 years. Her many talents include hair-coloring (specialized in hi-lights close to the scalp),cutting and texturizing, updos, keratin services, and eyebrow waxing. Always learning new things. Loves what she does and loves making her clientele feel confident.

Darien • Stylist

I’ve always had a passion for helping people look and feel beautiful, which is why years ago I decided to go into the beauty industry. I started my career overseas in Syria, and once I moved to the US I continued my education in hair and makeup by graduating from both L’esprit academy and the Makeup Forever Academy in New York. I’m experienced in all types of hair services: blow drying, cutting, coloring, balayage, highlights and, keratin services. I also love to style special occasion hair and bridal updos. I love to do makeup; traditional and airbrush makeup..

Frankie • Stylist

Frankie has been in the hair industry since 2012. She graduated from the Douglas J Aveda Institute of Ann Arbor and is excited about furthering her career at Studio 170. Frankie keeps a sharp eye by attending various courses on color theory and styling. She is well trained in product lines such as Bumble and Bumble, Redken, Pureology, and Kerastase. Frankie has also been trained by the Kerastase Director of Education, Ninna Dimachki. She specializes in quality colors, haircuts, blowouts, Keratin Treatments, and highlights. Frankie is a very admirable stylist who establishes lasting relationships with her guests while creating stunning results.

Dani • Stylist

Originally starting her beauty career in Florida, Dani is well experienced in the industry. Having the ability to make people look and feel their best is why Dani loves what she does. She stays updated as a stylist by keeping her attention focused on the latest trends and information. Dani is amazing at all types of hair services. Aside from all of her artistic abilities; she specializes in highlights, color and men’s cuts.

Megan • Stylist

Megan began her journey in the beauty industry at L’esprit Academy of Royal Oak. Her passions and specializations include cutting, coloring, styling, Extensions, Keratin treatments, and formal styling Show her a picture and she can create any look you desire. She stays up-to-date on styles since she regularly attends classes and continues to educate herself. Megan knows how to work those brushes with an incredible blow dry!

Indira • Stylist

Indira has always appreciated self-care and beauty. She specializes in Balayage and was trained by Candy Shaw at Sunlight Balayage. Indira attended the school Paul Mitchell Bradley where she made the Dean’s list. Being up to date on the latest cutting methods, trends, products, and fashion is how she always provides her clients with amazing results they love.

Kaitlin • Stylist

Kaitlin has been in the industry for 10+ years making the world more beautiful one head at a time! Talented in the broad spectrum of the cosmetology field, Kaitlin finds joy in working with all hair textures putting her skill to the test with multiple variations of blonding techniques (balayage, foilyage, babylights,etc), as well as color melting, creating fun unique looks with bright color pigments, beautifully shiny all over base colors, precision hair cutting techniques including razor cutting, multiple extension applications, braiding, and facial waxing. She has always found that truly listening to her clients has always resulted in their happiness!

Corina • Stylist

Corina is a very talented stylist who was educated at L’esprit Academy. She does everything from amazing updos and trendy braids to stunning colors and cuts of perfection. Corina keeps herself inspired by attending classes for continuing her education to insure top quality results for all of her clients.

Arianna • Stylist

Arianna is a Hair Designer at Studio 170. In 2017, she was certified as a Redken Specialist, where she became proficient in product knowledge, hair color, design, and finishing. Arianna keeps up with the current trends by attending the annual American Beauty Show in Chicago. There, she observes and learns from top professionals in the industry. Locally, she attends monthly classes taught by industry educator and blogger, Nina Dimachki. Attending seminars with business leaders in the industry, Global Educator Michael Cole, Salon Owner, and Motivational Speaker Jen Planck, and Industry Coach Tabatha Coffey, Arianna has learned from the best how to enhance her clients experience in the salon. She graduated Cosmetology school with Honors among the top of her class while simultaneously attending high school. Her true passion and inspiration in life are to have the ability to help people be confident with their self-image. Her mission behind the chair is to make her clients happy with who they are and to appreciate their natural beauty. She strives to work hard and learn something new every day that will better her as a person and a professional.

Kayla • Stylist

Kayla has over 5 years of experience and expertise in the hair industry. She is a graduate from the Douglas J Aveda Institute. She stays knowledgeable on all the new trends and techniques by attending the Chicago hair show each year and taking 5 or more classes a year. She specializes in hair color, women’s cuts, blow dries and keratin treatments but has a real passion for creating beautiful blondes.

Julia • Stylist

Julia Beydoun is a highly trained, Michigan based Makeup Artist. She earned a Bachelors of Arts in Creative Design Advertising from Michigan state university. Her love for art and makeup started at a very early age, and in 2011 her passion blossomed into a career. She took her talent of drawing and painting and brought her artwork to life through makeup artistry. Julia describes makeup artistry as “painting on living canvas”. She explains, “Every canvas (face of a client/model) is different. Whether that be in shape, color, texture, etc. Each canvas has a vision, an opinion, and a story. Each must be specially prepped and painted to create a customized and flawless application. The makeup products are my mediums, artfully layered and blended to achieve the desired effect. In makeup artistry, no face is exactly like another. That is what makes it so beautiful and exciting.” Julia also dabbled in hair design, but her true love resided in makeup. Julia spent over 6 years refining her skills and broadening her makeup experiences.

She completed a rigorous, comprehensive training program and continued to acquire education on current makeup trends, techniques, and latest product knowledge. Julia has worked with many talented photographers and agencies. She was trained in Chicago for Chanel and is now making a name for herself in the Bridal makeup industry. She is focused on creating beautifully timeless looks for her bridal parties while utilizing her skills with traditional makeup and airbrushing. Today, Julia continues to work passionately at Studio 170, where she trained under master hairstylist, Tita. Julia also specializes in eyelash extensions and false lashes. Her patience and attention to detail is what keeps her clients feeling confident that she will make them look and feel beautiful.

Nicole • Stylist

Having been in the beauty industry since high school, Nicole knows every end of the business. Nicole graduated from Marketti Academy of Cosmetology. She is extension certified and continues to grow her passion by continuing her professional education. Possessing a wide range of creative ability, Nicole does all colors and cuts and also specializes in blondes. and has a flare for red heads!

Muna • Nail Technician

Muna has been a nail technician for over twenty-five years. She has many expertises from relaxing pedicures, flawless polishing to her speciality acrylics. Muna is amazing at sculpting french manicures. With her bubbly and positive personality, Muna’s number one priority is providing her guests with an enjoyable experience while building a lasting relationship. She is always willing to go above and beyond for her guests.

Diana • Nail Technician

With over three decades of experience in the Fashion Industry as a fashion designer, Diana decided to take her expertise and love of fashion, trends and color to the Nail Industry. Diana loves mixing and customizing nail colors and adding gems. In her sixteen years with our salon family, Diana is not only a Nail Tech but a concierge and a confidant. Her warm personality quickly makes anyone feel like a friend. She takes pride in giving the ultimate experience whether it be a quick polish change or a foot treatment in our private pedicure room. She is also passionate about teaching her guests how to maintain healthy nails and feet with her vast product knowledge and keeping up to date on all the new trends.

Josephine • Esthetician

Josephine is our Spa Esthetician, who has over 25 years of expertise in this highly extensive field. She has a calming presence with healing hands once she has touched your face you will be back for more! Experience Josephine as she works her magic. She specializes in facials; stress relieving facials for results over a period of time and the Hydrafacial for immediate results. Her clients all say there is no other than Jo-Jo!

Michelle • Masseuse

Training in Orthopedic massage and assessment, Swedish Massage, Sports Massage, Trigger Point therapy for relief of headaches, back and neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, TMJ, fascial release, increased circulation, weight loss, detoxification, stress relief, and general relaxation. With almost 10 years of experience, Michelle will be able to help you with your aches and pains.

I have been a part of the business since I was a baby. My knowledge of the salon business is extensive! If your high school students need to get an appointment or have any questions give me a shout out and I’ll be sure to guide them in the right direction. Message me on Instagram!
